ST. MARYS — Midwest Electric awarded $11,000 in scholarships to 13 high school seniors, including Bath’s Tatum Walsh and Spencerville’s Grace Goecke, according to a press release from the electric cooperative.

Christian Chamber creates scholarship for entrepreneurs
LIMA — The West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce has announced a new scholarship opportunity for freshmen. According to a recent press release, the organization hopes to support Christian entrepreneurs interested in a career in business or “marketplace” ministry. The release also states there are a total of five $500 scholarships. The WOCC has partnered with Swartz Restoration and Emergency Services to create the program.
