LIMA — A peer mentor for Allen County Children Services and Coleman Health Services has been named the Sobriety Treatment and Reducing Trauma 2024 Peer Mentor of the Year.
Angela Mueller was awarded Thursday at a ceremony in Columbus. She had been nominated by Children Services and Coleman staff.
Allen County is one of 53 counties that participate in the START program. Peer mentors provide support to people in the child welfare system who are battling substance abuse.
