LIMA — The Mayor’s Spring Clean-up will be from 9 a.m. to noon May 4 and 11, and June 1 and 8 throughout the city of Lima.
Community or neighborhood organizations can participate by hosting a Dumpster or service project and can choose a Saturday that works for their organization, select a location, recruit two volunteers and complete an application to the Department of Housing and Neighborhoods by Monday, April 26.
The city will provide trash bags, T-shirts and loaned tools.
Propane tanks, mercury switches, radioactive materials, batteries, compressed gas cylinders, chemical waste and appliances will not be accepted.
