LIMA — Barbara Garlock is celebrating her 90th birthday with a family lunch.
She was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Garth and Mildred Roof. On July 10, 1948, she married, and her spouse died Feb. 4, 2000.
She has six children, Steve (Jan) Garlock, of Westerville, Linda Garlock, of Lima, Garth (Julie) Garlock, of Columbus, Jeff (Debbie) Garlock, of Belle Center, Lisa Garlock, of Lima, and Sarah (Joe) Rayman, of Elida. She has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a volunteer at St. Rita’s Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed playing golf at several different courses in th area. She is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, proven by the Buckeyes license plate on the front of her walker. Go Bucks!
