A crew from the Lima Fire Department pulls a strand of synthetic evergreen from the top of a pole in the roundabout island in Lima’s Town Square on Friday. The crew tethered it to the ground before connecting electricity to it for the annual Christmas tradition in the middle of the ctiy.

Crews from the Lima Fire Department spent Friday morning building Lima’s Christmas tree in the roundabout island in Town Square.
One firefighter connected strands of synthetic evergreen to the top of a pole via a ladder truck, while others on the ground tethered them to the ground and connected the electricity on the pre-lighted strands.
