LIMA — GEM Inc., a Rudolph Libbe Group company, celebrated the grand opening of its new Lima location Friday.
Located at 155 Eastom Circle, Lima, the new office and fabrication shop is the beginning of a new era for both GEM Inc. and Rudolph Libbe Group.
“What you see here today is a result of the hard work that Rudolph Libbe Group has made to the Lima community and our crafts and clients. It’s beautiful,” said Rick Wallace, general manager, Lima Rudolph Libbe Group.
The office was formerly the home of Lima Fire Equipment Co., and according to Wallace, there was phosphate dust everywhere in the building at the beginning stages of the transition.
Having been present in the Lima community for three decades with different office locations, the new location is a sign of commitment to GEM Inc.
“To finally have a place that’s ours and to invest in and to support our customers is huge and it feels great,” said Scott Kepp, senior vice president, GEM Inc.
Phil Klingensmith, project manager, GEM Inc., appreciates what it took to make it possible.
“I appreciate the commitment from everyone. We’re here to stay,” he said.
Wallace noted that many employees expressed gratitude towards the leadership, and the new building stands as a testament to the company’s hard work.
Rudolph Libbe Group is a company that provides manufacturing process upgrades, industrial maintenance, process piping, electrical, structural steel, millwright, and other services.
