OTTAWA — The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in locating a wanted man who had been seen in the Columbus Grove area.
Joe Vera III, 30, is 6-foot tall and weighs 190 pounds, according to the sheriff’s office.
Vera could still be in the Allen and Putnam counties. He could be armed, so do not confront him if you see him. Call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office at 419-523-3208 or your local law enforcement.
He was listed with a Wabash Avenue address in Defiance for a 2023 assault case. He has warrants for aggravated burglary, strangulation, escape and aggravated robbery. He also has a nationwide warrant through the adult parole authority for parole violations off a 2015 aggravated robbery, endangering children and breaking and entering case out of Hanock County.
The Delphos Police Department shared the update on its Facebook page, noting Vera has ties to Delphos.
