Mendon man dies after crashing into semi

DUBLIN TOWNSHIP — A Mendon man died after traveling left of center around 5 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 127, north of Dutton Road in Mercer County.

According to a news release from Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey, Travis Fox, 49, of Mendon, was northbound on U.S. 127 when he traveled left of center for an unknown reason and struck a semi-truck driven by Cody Snyder, 30, of Seymour, Indiana, who was traveling southbound. Fox was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash is still under investigation and will be forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for review, Grey said.
