FINDLAY — A Lima man was cited with assured clear distance ahead after rear-ending a Fostoria woman Sunday around 4 p.m. on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay.
Jonathan Ryle, 24, of Lima, was traveling eastbound on Tiffin Avenue approaching the intersection of Bright Road when he rear-ended Alexandria Moreno, 20, of Fostoria, who was stopped in traffic. Ryle was traveling approximately 39 mph. He said he slid on the wet pavement and his brakes weren’t working properly.
Ryle had suspected minor injuries but was not transported from the scene. His vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Moreno and her passenger, Rachel Moreno, 41, of Findlay, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
