Rapidly-growing coffee and beverage chain coming to Lima

LIMA — A drive-thru coffee stand is coming to Lima.

7 Brew is a growing brand with over 250 stands nationwide that offers a variety of coffee, its own branded energy drinks, tea, lemonade, smoothies, and shakes. With a possible 20,000 flavor combinations, customers will have the opportunity to customize drinks to their liking.

Located between the Meijer gas station and the Panda Express at 3194 Elida Rd, the expected opening date is early November.

The stand will add nearly 50 jobs to the Lima and surrounding area.

Matt Brooks, director of operations, explained why Lima is the right city for the drive-thru.

“Lima sits perfectly in the middle of our territory and is a great mid-sized town with more than enough to support 7 Brew. Lima is missing the vibe and energy that 7 Brew is known for,” he said.

Not only is he excited for the city of Lima, but Brooks is also hoping for big things from Elida Road traffic.

“Elida is a very busy road with great visibility,” he said.

Nearby coffee chains don’t present any challenges to Brooks or the future success of 7 Brew.

“We don’t look at it as competition between coffee chains. We are excited to be an addition to the coffee market in Lima,” he said.

Creating and retaining an experience for customers to come back is of the utmost importance to the chain. Brooks feels the connection between customers and staff is what separates 7 Brew from other chains.

“Our motto is Cultivating Kindness and we do that by creating a memorable experience when our customers come through the drive-thru every day. We take your order face-to-face and build a genuine connection with our customers.”
