ROUNDHEAD TOWNSHIP — A motorcycle crash Thursday around 10 p.m. in the 17000 block of state Route 235 in Hardin County caused fatal injuries to the rider.
According to a news release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, Chad Goodin, of Alger, was traveling northbound on state Route 235 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, causing him to be ejected. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and Everhart said speed was a suspected factor.
