Aug. 27

Zonte G. Fomby, 37, Indianapolis, Ind., was sentenced to 90 days jail for obstructing official business with all but one day of the sentence suspended. He was fined $750 with $250 suspended provided he has no criminal offenses within the next two years. The firearms seized in the within action are forfeited to the arresting agency.

James A. Blum, 40, Lima, was sentenced to 180 days jail for attempted failure to register (arson registration). The judge suspended 162 days of the sentence and gave him credit for 18 days previously served on condition he have no violations of law for two years.

Ronald L. Runyon, Jr., 47, Van Wert, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business and aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines on each count. Bond is continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Sept. 30. Any illegal drugs seized in the within action are forfeited to the arresting agency.

Cal M. Himelick, 36, Delphos, was remanded to the WORTH Center for aggravated possession of drugs. He was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all treatment and counseling recommended.

Aug. 28

Gabrielle German, Fort Jennings, and Emma German, Charleston, S.C., were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married May 17, 2017 and have one child.

Aug. 26

Mario P. Alvarado, 38, Toledo, was fined $150 for no operator’s license. A charge of fictitious plates was dismissed.

Naheem S. Tyson, 23, Ottawa, was fined $150 for an amended charge of reckless operation. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Aug. 27

Courtney J. Strickland, 43, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to telephone harassment. Sentence: 180 days jail, 175 days suspended, $150 fine, complete a mental health assessment and have no contact with the victim including text, email, voicemail or social media except for childcare and exchange.

Zackery B. Johnson, 33, Continental, charged with drug abuse/possession, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Aug. 29

Jeremy B. Moreno, 40, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to second-offense OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 135 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 suspended, two-year license suspension, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. He was fined $100 for driving without a valid license. Two other counts of OVI, plus a charge of failure to control were dismissed.

Alejandro Salazar, 34, Continental, was fined $250 for failure to reinstate license.

Sylvio Thomas, 39, Leipsic, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Uriel D. Perez, 37, Belmore, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Pedro F. Meza, 21, Findlay, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.
