Ohio State Trappers Convention

The Ohio State Trappers Convention will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Allen County Fairgrounds at 2750 Harding Highway in Lima.
The event is open to the public for a $5 admission price for adults and will feature tailgaters, vendors, food trucks, contests and demonstrations.
The Ohio State Trappers Association will also have education stations set up for all ages and experiences.
Children 12 and younger are free.

Walking Thru Autumn Hiking
9-10:30 a.m. Sunday
Walking Thru Autumn Hiking will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at Heritage Park at 2092 Reed Road in Lima.
Anyone can register for the series which runs through October at the different Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Parks or participate in any of them without registration for free.
All hikes last about 1.5 hours.
