LIMA — A deceased person has been found near a railroad track in Lima, the Lima Police Department confirmed.
The police department has not released other details about the situation except that the body was found in an area between Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, 125 S. Central Ave., and the railroad track that runs behind the building.
The department did not say when the body was discovered, except that it was sometime Monday during the department’s first shift, which runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The department also declined to release any information concerning the person’s identity, including the individual’s gender and approximate age.
The police department confirmed that an investigation is underway.
