July 2

Joshua L. Hurles, 35, Delphos, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. July 29. Upon agreement of the parties, any illegal drugs seized in the within action will be forfeited to the arresting agency.

Jake Macke, Scott Stant, Shane Vance, Jared West, Kyle Hall and Brian Lomeli were all sworn in as deputy sheriffs of Putnam County.

July 3

LVNV Funding, LLC, Greenville, S.C., was granted judgment against Nicole E. Neth, Continental, in the amount of $22,210.68 with interest and costs. If she pays the amount of $16,215 within five days, the judgmentwill be satisfied.

Putnam County Municipal dispositions

July 1

Justin Averesch, 48, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to OVI-third offense and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 360 days jail, 330 days suspended, $850 fine, seven-year license suspension, complete an alcohol and drug assessment. A charge of OVI with refusal was dismissed.

Eduardo S. Lopez, 22, Continental, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Genesis D. Hefner, 20, Lima, was fined $100 for driving under FRA/non compliance suspension and $50 for lights required.

Sean R. Allen, 32, Cincinnati, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and one-year license suspension. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Silviano C. Ortiz, 29, West Leipsic, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Christopher J. Hernandez, 51, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to telecommunication harrassment. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine.

Putnam County Municipal Court judgments

July 1

LVNV Funding, LLC, Greenville, S.C., consent judgment v. Miguel Balcarcel, Leipsic, $1,117.30, plus interes and costs. The parties have agreed to settle the matter for $650 upon compliance of the agreement.

Premier Bank, Defiance, default judgment v. Mollie R. Menke, Fort Jennings, $612.45, plus interest and costs.
