Putnam County Common Pleas Court

The following individuals were indicted by the Putnam County Grand Jury on Wednesday.

Jacob Langhals, 20, Ottawa; illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and possessing criminl tools.

According to court records, Langhals is accused of possessing or viewing material or performance that shows a minor who was not his child in a state of nudity on April 8. He possessed a photo or video of “Jane Doe” in a state of nudity when she was a minor while at Kennedy Street in Ottawa. He was also charged with possessing under his control a device with the purpose to use it in the commission of a felony offense, a laptop while at the same Kennedy Street address in Ottawa.

Joshua O. Smith, 21, Ottawa; illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, possessing criminal tools and sexual conduct with an animal.

According to court records, Smith possessed or viewed material or performance that shows a minor who was not his child in a state of nudity on Feb. 16. He possessed images/pictures that show a minor not his child in a state of nudity while at a North Locust Street address in Ottawa. Smith possessed a device with the purpose to use it in the commission of a felony, a cell phone on Feb. 16. In addition, on Oct. 9, 2023, Smith was accused of knowingly engaging in sexual conduct with a dog while in Ottawa, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

James A. Blum, 40, Columbus Grove; arson registration violation.

Ronnie Ramos, 53, Ottawa; tampering with evidence and aggravated possession of drugs.

Joseph Chandler, 39, Columbus Grove; three counts trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and trafficking in cocaine.

Payton A. Baldridge, 19, Arlington; failure to comply with order of a police officer.

Dylan S. Baker, 31, Delphos; aggravated possession of drugs and operating a vehicle under the influence, aa misdemeanor.

Tina M. Candia, 55, Ottawa; domestic violence.

Candence K. Rowe, 19, Indianapolis, Ind.; possession of a fentanyl-related compound.

Ronald L. Runyon, Jr., 46, Ottawa; tampering with evidence and aggravated possession of drugs.

Antwan D. Brown, 36, Columbus; possession of cocaine.

James A. Morgan, 20, Ottawa; failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer.

Anthony J. Brown, 26, Columbus Grove; three counts vandalism and three counts criminal damaging or endangering.

Christy L. Doyle, 40, Lima; drug abuse/possession and tampering with evideence.

Ramon R. Villa, 45, Leipsic; vehicle homicide.

Anthony A. Hazelton, 41, Ottawa; aggravated possesion of drugs.

June 7

Forester Trucking & Excavating, LLC, Continental, was granted default judgment against YNG, LLC, Rensselaer, Ind., in the amount of $17,100, plus inerest and costs.

June 6

Cristian F. Torres Gonzalez, 22, Leipsic, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

June 7

Elijah W. Saldana, 21, Findlay, was fined $150 for driving under FRA/non compliance suspension and $50 for expired plates.

Fabian B. Mayorga, 27, Leipsic, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

June 10

Matthew A. Berg, 41, Findlay, pleaded guilty to no operator’s license. Sentence: 180 days jail, 100 days suspended. A charge of expired plates were dismissed.

Angel A. Carrillo, 24, Delphos, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of OVI and failure to control were dismissed.

Anthony A. Hazelton, 41, Ottawa, charged with drug abuse possession, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

June 11

Nicholas B. Langhals, 18, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. Another charge of OVI was dismissed.
