Findlay man arrested after crash

FINDLAY — A Findlay man was arrested and a pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Monday at the intersection of West Trenton Avenue at Morey Avenue in Findlay.

According to a news release from the Findlay Police Department, Marcus Spikes, 29, of Findlay, was traveling northbound on Morey Avenue, and Devyn Dotson, 19, of Waynesfield, was traveling eastbound on West Trenton Avenue. Spikes ran a red light at the intersection and was struck by Dotson, causing disabling damage to both vehicles.

Spikes was arrested on a warrant and was issued citations for disobeying a traffic control device and driving under license forfeiture suspension. Dotson’s passenger, Jasper Cornett, was taken by Hanco EMS to the Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay as a precaution since she is seven months pregnant.
