Laurel Oaks Garage Sale
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday through Saturday
The Laurel Oaks neighborhood in Elida is hosting a multi-day garage sale Thursday through Saturday. Anyone wishing to participate as a vendor can email Angie at [email protected]. Include your name, address, days you will be open and items you may have for sale in the email. The cost to participate is free for Laurel Oaks members and $5 for non-members.
Patio Party at 19 Hawthorn
6 to 9 p.m. Thursday
Enjoy live music and local food at the first Patio Party of the summer at 19 Hawthorne, 1000 Fetter Road, Lima. Held every Thursday until Aug. 8, the party will feature local music and local food trucks. Admission is free. The first party will feature music by Rowe & Hagar and food from Shafer’s Smoked Meats.
Buckeye Cruisers
5-8 p.m. Friday
Enjoy a Friday night cruise-in complete with classic cars, a 50-50 drawing, music and more at the Buffalo Cruisers event at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2948 Allentown Road, Lima. The event will be held every Friday evening through September. Donations are accepted at the event.
Lima YMCA Herb Jay River Run 5K
9 a.m. Saturday
The Lima Family YMCA will host the Herb Jay River Run 5K at 9 a.m. at 345 S. Elizabeth St., Lima. The race will start and finish at the YMCA and go along the river walk. Paritipants will receive a finisher’s medal once the race is completed. The cost to participate is $20 for YMCA members and $25 for non-members before the race and $30 on race day. Drum Circle at Ottawa Metro Park
4-7 p.m. Monday
A drum circle event is being held from 4 to 7 p.m. the first Sunday of each month through October at Ottawa Metro Park, 2632 Ada Road, Lima. Participants are encouraged to bring their drum or instrument of choice, but some rhythm instruments will be available at the event. Participants are also encouraged to bring snacks and a drink. No alcohol will be permitted at the event.

• Lima Farmers Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the UNOH Racers Station, 1309 N. Cable Road, Lima. The farmers market will be holding its first event at its new location at UNOH, with markets held every Saturday through Sept. 28.
