Putnam County Common Pleas Court
The following individuals were indicted Wednesday by the Putnam County Grand Jury.
Samantha N. Manson, 42, Grover Hill; aggravated possession of drugs, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garrett R. Schroeder, 19, Ottawa; illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance.
Autumn M. Parker, 41, Ottawa; grand theft.
Jeremy D. Green, 43, Findlay; aggravated possession of drugs.
Carlos E. Harris, 24, Napoleon; aggravated possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools.
Cruzito Castillo, 37, Belmore; aggravated possession of drugs.
Frank Taschler, 24, Pandora; endangering children.
Desiree Orengo, 26, Pandora; endangering children.
Phongsavanh Sithivongsa, 18, Findlay; failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
Bobby G. Combs, 41, Findlay; weapon under disability and aggravated possession of drugs.
Jason L. Burleson, 41, Ottawa; two counts felonious assault and two counts aggravated assault.
Jan. 18
Sparkle S. McGuire, 26, Dayton, pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon. She faces up to 180 days jail and a $1,000 fine. Bond was amended to include PASSPOINT Screening on Thursdays while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. March 4. The firearms seized in the within action will be forfeited to the arresting agency.
McGuire was charged along with William J. Brown, 38, Dayton, and Gregory A. Preston, 32, Cincinnati in connection to a drug bust in Fort Jennings. According to court records, the three were accused of transporting nearly 200 grams of methamphetamine to a residence on North Water Street in Fort Jennings on Aug. 4.
Jan. 19
Walter R. Pfeifer, III, 45, Toledo, was sentenced to 44 days in jail for forgery. He was given credit for 44 days served and placed on five years community control. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete counseling and treatment at the Zepf Recovery House, Toledo. Another forgery count was dismissed.
Jan. 22
Gregory A. Harriger, 46, Ottawa, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for violating community control standards. The violations included being unsuccessfully discharged from the WORTH Center. Harriger was given credit for 154 days served and was ordered to pay restitution of $25 to the village of Columbus Grove police department. He had been convicted of aggravated assault and vandalism.
Jane Elsea, and Mark Elsea, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 12, 1989 in Findlay and have no children.
Jan. 25
Amber Mangas, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Brian Mangas, Leipsic. They were married Aug. 10, 2010 and have two children.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions
Jan. 16
James A. Blum, 39, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $100 fine and pay $725 restitution with sentence served concurrently with felony jail time.
Luis F. Mendez, 27, Leipsic, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.
Alexander J. Hernandez, 46, Leipsic, was fined $150 for wrongful entrustment.
Jan. 22
Kayla Wannemacher, 32, Ottoville, was fined $50 for village income tax.
Randal J. Henry, 34, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to telephone harassment and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $100 fine and not be present at the residence of the victim.
Ericka N. Gurley, 29, Lima, pleaded no contest to driving under OVI suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 130 days suspended, and $250 fine. She was ordered to pay court costs for headlights required.
Seth A. Rowe, 21, Malinta, was fined $250 driving under suspension license forfeiture. He was also fined $50 for license plate lights.
Jason C. Insley, 46, Ottawa, was fined $150 for failure to maintain control.
Jan. 23
Joe Vera, III, 30, Defiance, pleaded no contest to assault and was found guilty. Sentence: 120 days jail, with sentence served concurrent to prison term.
