Today marks the first issue of The Lima News’ Midweek Edition.

The Lima News announced on May 10 it would shift to printing a Midweek Edition on Wednesdays and a Weekend Edition on Saturdays. Subscribers can keep up with all of the latest news on LimaOhio.com, which will continue to be updated throughout the day, 365 days a year.

The Midweek Edition includes these popular features:

• 360 Entertainment, previewing upcoming local events and sharing television listings

• Reminisce, looking at local history, and Holy Cow! History, offering anecdotes about national history

• Comics and puzzles

• All of the obituaries submitted since the last edition printed

• Highlights of local stories appearing on LimaOhio.com since the last edition printed

• Lori Borgman’s weekly column

• Court records

On Saturdays, the Weekend Edition maintains the newspaper’s most popular features:

• Advertising circulars previously appearing in Sunday newspapers

• Comics and puzzles

• All of the obituaries submitted since the last edition printed

• Highlights of local stories appearing on LimaOhio.com since the last edition printed

• Driver’s Seat and the Real Wheels feature on local classic vehicles

• Health coverage

• Lifestyle section, complete with book reviews, announcements and information about trends

• All of the regular local columnists, including John Grindrod, Sarah Shrader and David Trinko

• Land transfers and Crime Stoppers listings

In addition to local coverage posted throughout the daily, many popular print features will be offered online each day, including comics, puzzles, Today in History, Sports TV and radio listings and more.
