Coach’s analysis: “The team has been working hard this summer and has really improved the amount of miles per week compared to last year. Their timed miles are better than where they left off last year and that is something to be excited about and how that will translate into times on the courses.”

Coach’s analysis: “We feel that some of the girls have the potential to be successful. For the team to achieve their goals, we need the number four and five runners to move up in the scoring as the season goes on.”

Coach’s analysis: “Although we only have a total of nine girls, we have nine tough girls which should make for a competitive group. The hard work and dedication they’ve put in this summer should help them build on last year’s results. I look forward to seeing their improvement individually and collectively as a team as the year progresses.”

Coach’s analysis: “We’re looking to have a strong season with eight returners. Last season the team finished mid-pack at most invitationals while finishing as runners-up in the NWC and qualifying out of districts to participate at the Regional meet. The team expectations and individual goals are set higher for this season and the summer preparation should show quality payoff once October rolls around.”

Coach’s analysis: “This group has worked hard this summer and has the potential to really improve on last year’s results. Six of the seven girls have varsity experience and have shown great improvement last season and I expect more of that this year.”

Coach’s analysis: “Similar to previous years, the strength of the team will be the tightness of the pack. It’s a confident group. They have experience running in the bigger races. Confidence and experience is a good recipe for success. By October, this team will be ready to compete in the strong MAC conference to prepare for the State tournament.”

Coach’s analysis: “We have a hard-working group this year. The girls are led by our one senior, Maddie Houck, who has been doing an excellent job of leading this young group. We will have our largest team in a while with seven runners. The group has been working hard and has had a fantastic summer. I have been thrilled with how the athletes have run this summer and where they are coming into the season.”
