TULSA, Okla. — Mary Kelly Mulcahy was tied for 34th in the Women’s U.S. Amateur Championship at Southern Hills Country Club after shooting a three-over par 74 in the first round on Monday.
The Lima Central Catholic graduate, who is a senior at the University of Findlay, had six bogeys, three birdies and nine pars in her round.
She is scheduled to tee off at 1:28 p.m. CDT Tuesday. After a second round of stroke play the low 64 golfers will advance to match play on Wednesday.
