Miller City

Division II

Conference: Putnam County League

Coach: Todd Pester (fourth season)

2023 record: 19-7

Returning 2023 letter winners: Anna Keeler (junior), Isabella Pittman (junior), Josie Schnipke (sophomore), Anna Lammers (sophomore)

Promising newcomers: Marissa Carr (senior)

Coach’s analysis: “Our girls program looks to start where it left off in the 2023 season by making it to the district event. Despite losing Chelsea Erford, the team has a lot of potential. With Marissa Carr coming back to the team for her senior year, we have a solid team that should compete. The only weakness is the girls not playing enough golf during the summer, so the first few weeks could be challenging, but they should hit their stride by September. By the end of the season, we’re hopeful for a strong finish and a potential district appearance.”

Wapakoneta

Conference: Western Buckeye League

Coach: Blasia Moyler (first season)

Promising newcomers: Hannah Lee (sophomore), Maci Neumeier (freshman), Laren Palmer (sophomore)

Coach’s analysis: “I’m excited to see our team grow and compete this season. We return many players who are ready to build on their progress from last year and they have done a great job of helping our younger players get acclimated. We are capable of being competitive in every match.”
