Locos roll in 11-2 win over Hamilton

The Lima Locos had a big day at the plate and on the bases in an 11-2 win over the Hamilton Joes on Sunday at Simmons Field.

The Locos had 14 hits, led by Landon Tate (3 for 4 and 2 RBIs), Blake Bowen ( 3 for 5 and 2 RBIs), Brooks Wright (2 hits) and Sebastian Alexander (2 hits, 4 stolen bases). Alexander’s four steals gives him 16 for the season.

Chase Jarnigan pitched the first 5 1/3 innings and got the win Griffin Howe pitched the last 3 2/3 innings.

The Locos are 7-8 for the season. Hamilton is 11-4. The Locos’ next game will be at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday against the Michigan Monarchs at Simmons Field.
