Continental’s Rhem Armey scored three goals and recorded three assists and Westin Okuley had two goal and two assists. Alex Sharritis also had two goals.. Andrew Hoeffel had a goal and Peyton Wilson, Warrin Okuley and Wyatt Davis each had goals. LCC’s Michael Taflinger scored the lone Thunderbird goal.
Continental keeper Konnor Knipp-Williams had five saves and LCC’s Oli Bruno made 13 saves.

VAN WERT — Ottoville’s Will Miller and Quinton Schnipke both produced hat tricks and Kyle Manns, Brice Schroeder, Kellen Schlagbaum and Preston Mansfield all recorded goals.

ADA — New Knoxville’s Patrick Covert scored a hat trick and Jay Waterman scored a goal.

CELINA — Shawnee’s Justin Altenbach was the medalist. Other Indian scores were Solomon Smith 39, Colin Pasion 41, Derek Rhodes and Colton Morris 43.
For Celina, David Kramer had a 40 followed by Breckin Adam 44 and Nate Boley 45.

Bath’s Britton Hall was the medalist with a 36. Other Wildcat scores were Charlie Schnieder 40, Trace Ebbeskotte 45 and Andrew Burkholder 47.
Lucas Hites and Ethan Wirbel led Kenton with 43s. Other team scores were Noah Ketcham 45 and Stone Sauber 74.

FINDLAY — Pandora-Gilboa’s Trey Hovest was the medalist with a 43. Other Rocket scores were Eli Huffman with a 44, Jacob Suter with a 45 and Blake Steiner, Grant Farthing and Sam Norton with 49s.

Fort Recovery’s Carson Rammel was the medalist with a 39. Sam Anspach posted the low score for New Knoxville with a 50.

Coldwater’s Carson shot the low score for his team with a 37. Other Cavalier scores were Ben Giere 43, Hayden Beougher 45 and Keegan Bruggeman 46.

Bath got singles wins from Esther Bolon and Ruby bolon and doubles wins from the team of Elina and Ann Oliver and the pair of Rachel Wilcox and Chloe Rieman.

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf got singles wins from Sami Ellerbrock and Alyse Balbaugh and a doubles win from Claire Ellerbrock and Erica Siefer. St. Marys got a singles win from Charley Spencer and a doubles victory from the team of Jodi Perry and Maddie White.

DELPHOS — Jefferson’s Liv Lindeman scored two goals and added an assist and Kyra Foust also recorded two goals. Noel Warnement, Emily Dienstberger and Krytin Moore all added scores. Haylee Bayman had an assist.

CELINA — Celina’s Mia Rolfes scored two goals and Taylor Klingshirn and Ellie Hitchcock each added scores.
Celina evens its record at 1-1.
Volleyball
Bluffton 3, Riverdale 1
MT. BLANCHARD — Bluffton won, 25-9, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-14.
Bluffton’s Kylie Stackhouse had 19 kills and Taylor Scwhab added 16. Skyler Scoles, who had nine aces, recorded 42 assists and Kylie Monday notched 19 digs and Sophia Bricker had nine.
Leipsic 3, Ayersville 0
AYERSVILLE — Leipsic won 25-10, 25-14 and 25-7. Leipsic’s Liz Schecklhoff had 12 kills and nine blocks and Serenity Siefer had 26 assists and three aces. Peyton Heitmeyer had 17 digs and five kills and Marisa Hermiller had six kills and six assists. Kasey Brough had five kills and Jocie Hermiller had eight digs. Ava Henry had four kills.
Football
Lima Senior sets guidelines for spectators
The Lima City Schools released its guidelines today for spectators at fall athletic contests.
The guidelines, which include high school, middle school and youth athletics, are in line with mandates put forth by the state.
Spectators will be limited to four family members per student athlete, cheerleader or marching band member. Specifics of how this will work will be communicated to families today.
There will be limited tickets available for families to attend away games. The Athletic Department will get that information to families as it receives it from opponents.
Community members, students and staff will not be able to attend games.
Superintendent Jill Ackerman said in a letter going home with students today that while this is difficult, the district must follow the guidelines in order for the fall season to move forward.
“Our first goal as a school district and a community must be to keep our student athletes and coaches safe,” she said. “Next, we need to do all we can to make sure their season does not get cut short.”
We are working on plans to livestream home high school games. Fans will be able to purchase access to the livestream just as they would tickets to see the game in person. Details will be released as soon as we have them finalized. Fans should keep an eye on the district’s website and social media pages.
Other schools are working on similar plans and as we get those details about away contests we will let the community know.
Family members who attend games must complete a health assessment and have temperatures taken at each event. There will be designated entrances and exits and assigned sections to sit in. Spectators must wear masks at all times.
Nickles places second at Nationals
Allen East student Jac Nickles collected two second place finishes at the Mini Sprint Nationals over the weekend.
At the Bloomington Speedway Mini Spring Nationals, Nickles placed second Friday and then finished runner-up at the Licoln Park Speedway Minis Sprint Nationals Saturday.
