Delphos Country Club Tee Off Classic

DELPHOS — Delphos St. John’s shot a 318, led by Jack Gerker with a 71 to earn medalist honors. to win the Delphos Country Club Tee Off Classic Monday.

Following Delphos St. John’s was Ottoville with a 339 and Fort Jennings with a 413 to round out the top three. Delphos Jefferson finished with a 418.

Other Blue Jay scores were Collin Feathers (80), Jeffrey Odenweller (81), Trent Lindeman (86), Caden Wright(90) and Nathan Gable (116).

Ottoville was led by Carder Schnipke with an 83. Other Big Green scores Jack Langhals (84), Michael Turnwald (86), Keaton Schnipke (86), Dru Hilvers (90) and Chad Schipke (99).

Fort Jennings’ Gavin Schimmoeller led the way for his team with a 95. Other Musketeer scores were Aiden Grothouse (100_, Nick Trement (106), Evan Hoersten (112) and Zach Schulte (119).

Delphos Jefferson’s Logan Gallmeier led hs team with a 77. Other Wildcat scores were Isaac Gallmeier (105), Brady Duval (114), Caden Carder (122), Kayden Slygh (139) and KC Knippen (141).

Delphos St. John’s made it a sweep after the girls took top team honors.

Ottoville’s Ally Honiford was the medalist with a 44

Delphos St. John’s shot a 206 to win the event followed by Delphos Jefferson with a 212 and Ottoville with a 237.

Blue Jays’ linkster Paige Gaynier led her team with a 45 followed by Cassidy Werts (53), Cassidy Beining (54), Jilian Dickman (54) Lydia Werts (56) and Elle Gable (63).

Jefferson was led by Riley Smith with a 48. Other Wildcat scores were Anna Fitch (53), Alivia Carpenter (53), Kaylee Buzard (58), Rachel Ryan (68) and Chloe Kroeger (69).

Ottoville’s Brooke Kortokrax shot a 54 followed by Lexie Honigford with a 64 and Laura Kimmet with a 75.

Girls Golf

LCC sets school record

SYLVANIA — Lima Central Catholic’s Mary Kelly Mulcahy fired a school record 65 earn medalist honors and lead the Thunderbirds to the Sylvania Northview Invitational title Monday.

The Thunderbirds also set a school record in team low score with a 295. Van Buren was second with a 344 followed by Perrysburg (351), Bowling Green (434) and Sylvania Northview (468).

Erin Mulcahy shot a 70 and was second to Mary Kelly Mulcahy and Bridget finished fourth overall after a 78. All three were on the all-tournament team. Emma Mares came in with an 82.

Defiance Invitational

DEFIANCE — Ottawa-Glandorf fired a team-low 322 to garner first place at the Defiance Invitational Monday

Titan Zach Stechschulte shot a 76 to finish second tied with Kalida’s Ryan Klausing and Pettisville’s Tommy McWatters. Pettisville’s Max Leppelmeier was the medalist with a 73.

Pettisville was second with a 327 and Bryan was third with a 33. Kalida took fifth overall with a 337 and Celina was 10th overall with a 382. Van Wert was 13th with a 395.

Other Titan scores were Carson Fuka (79), Carter Schimmoeller (82), Dyan Meyer (85) and Grant Hovest (101).

After Klausing’s 76, Other Wildcat scores were Kayla Nartker (84), Justin Siebeneck (86), Brandt Brinkman (91) and Ethan Warnecke (93).

Celina’s Brecken Adams led the team with a 92. Other Bulldog scores were David Kramer (93), George Gramza (98), Nate Boley (99) and Blake Nagy (140).

Van Wert’s Evan Knittle led the team with an 85. Other Cougar scores were Cameron Terhark (100), Blake Bohyer (104), Lochlen Purmort (106) and Evan Bracken (116).

Wauseon Invitational

WAUSEON — Lincolnview shot a 351 to take fourth place and Bluffton came in with a 353 to snare fifth place at the Wauseon Invitational Monday.

Liberty-Benton won the event with a 327. Miller City placed seventh with a 384.

Lincolnview’s Dane Ebel led his team with an 83. Other Lancer scores were Avery Slusher (87), Grant Gloseet (90), Evan Miller (91), Landon Price (92), and Cole Binkley (103).

Bluffton’s Kenny Lovett shot an 86 to lead his team. Other Pirate scores were Micah Minning (88), Wes Brauen (89), Jaden Coonfare (90) and Jacob Bosvert (94).

Miller City’s T..J. Michel shot an 82 to lead his team. Other team scores were Thomas Weis (97), Dillon Peck (100), Isabelle Vance (105), Brian Wank (111) and Jon Wank (131).
