Van Wert graduate Bartalone named Lincoln Memorial University’s director of bowling.

ARROGATE, Tenn. — Van Wert High School graduate Torrie Bartalone has been named Lincoln Memorial University‘s director of bowling.

Bartalone, a former All-American bowler, has spent the last two seasons building the men’s and women’s bowling programs at Lourdes University in Sylvania. Named the first bowling coach in school history in 2018, Bartalone was tasked with creating the Gray Wolves programs from scratch.

In two years, Bartalone led the Lourdes women’s program to a top-10 national ranking and a spot in the NAIA National Championship.

Bartalone earned NTCA All-American honorable mention recognition in 2015 at Valparaiso University. The three-year letter winner for the Crusaders was also named to the Southland Bowling League All-Tournament Team her senior year. She began her collegiate bowling career at Robert Morris University (Illinois) where she spent two seasons.

In high school, she was named the Northwest District Senior Girl Bowler of the Year in 2010 and the Northwest Ohio High School Conference runner up Female Bowler of the Year as a senior.
