Columbus Grove moves up to No. 2

COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove moved up one spot to No. 2 in Division IV in the latest Associated Press High School boys basketball poll released Monday.

The Bulldogs (15-0) are behind New Boston Glenwood (16-1) and will face Bluffton Friday night. Ottoville made its first appearance in the Division IV poll at No. 17.

Ottawa-Glandorf (14-0) and Shawnee (15-0) who face off this Friday night remained in their respect spots. The Titans are second in Division III and the Indians are ranked No. 5 in Division II.

CONTINENTAL — Continental’s Alex Hoeffel, who had six steals, scored 29 points and Catelyn Etter added 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Kerri Prowant dished out seven assists.

LIMA — Ottaw-Glandorf’s Emily Krowkowski bowled a 420. Other Titan scores were Bri Siebeneck(310) Natalie Duling (284), Camryn Foppe (267), Delanie Leap (137) and Hannah Hoehne (113). For Shawnee, Abbey Ambroza bowled a 461. Other Indian scores were Samantha Zeltner (347), Lynden Bassitt (259), Alyssa Skinner (256), Makenna Gilbert (112) and Emma Holden (101).

The OG girls move to 6-4 and 3-4 in the Western Buckeye League.

LIMA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Ethan Schroeder bowled a 377. Other Titan scores were Logan Miller (363), Sean Kelley (360), Brandt Utrup (337) and Mitch Kaufman (315). For Shawnee Caden Zeltner bowled a 356. Other Indian scores were Kaleb Egri (347), Myles Aldrich (341) and Soloman Smith 341.

Ottawa-Glandorf moves to 8-4 and 4-3 in WBL.
