2 shoot 3-under at Lima Junior Golf Association event

LIMA — Nicholas Fischio and Erin Mulcahy had the low rounds of 69 each in winning the boys and girls 16-18 divisions respectively Tuesday at the Lima Junior Golf Association – McDonald’s Junior Series Heartlight Pharmacy Open at the par 72 Oaks Golf Club.

Keaton McKinley defeated Jack Romer and Drew Zwiebel for in a playoff after each shot 71 in boys event and Mary Kelly Mulcahy finished second among the girls with a 73.

Carson Harmon earned the boys 14-15 championship with a playoff victory against Noah Brand after each finished with 73s.

The the nine-hole competitions, Parker Judy topped Chase Dunson in a playoff for the boys 12-13 title after each shot a 43.

the girls 15 and younger also went past 18 holes after Emma Mayer, who won the playoff for first, and Kayla Watkins each shot 45. Damon Watson was the Peewee (11 and younger) event with a 37 with Brevin Brant finishing second with a 42.
