McKinley, Mulcahy take top honors at Tournament of Champions

Keaton McKinley shot a 75 to capture first place in the boys 16-18 division and Mary Kelly Mulcahy posted an 82 in girls 16-18 division at the Elks Invitational at Shawnee Country Club Monday.

McKinley, who shot a 37 on the front and a 38 on the back nine, finished two strokes ahead of Jack Romer who finished with a score of 77. Joshah Romer placed third with a 78 and Kyle Naumann took fourth with an 80.

Mary Kelly Mulcahy, who shot 41 on both the front and the back nine, finished four strokes ahead of her sister, Erin Mulcahy who finished with an 86. Meghan Mulchay rounded out the top three with an 89.

In the boys 12-13 division, Parker Judy was first with a 42 followed by Jack Gerker who finished second with a 46 after winning a one hole playoff against Cole Koenig.

Carson Harmon took top honors in the boys 14-15 age group by shooting an 85. Ethan Ricketts was the runner-up with a score of 92 followed by Britton Hall with a 94.

In the girls 15 and under, Kayla Watkins took first place with a 57 followed by Kayla Nartker with a 59 and Bridget Mulcahy with a 61.

Lima Senior football tickets to go on sale

Lima Senior High School Football season tickets will go on sale beginning atin the Lima Senior Athletic Office 8 a.m. Friday.

Ticket prices are $35 for reserved seating. General admission season passes are $33.75 for adults and $23.75 for students.

All season passes must be purchased by Aug. 25.

The Spartans first home game is Friday, Sept. 1 against Eastmoor Academy. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Crestview to hold meet the team night

The Crestview Athletic Department will conduct its annual Meet the Team night Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gym. All seventh through 12th grade fall student-athletes and parents are to attend.

Meet the Team night will give the community the first opportunity to get a look at the 2017 edition of the fall sports’ squads and our high school marching band. A general information session will begin the evening for all student-athletes, parents, and community members. During this session, the players and coaches of each team will be introduced.

All-Sports Passes will be on sale following the general session and are good for all home-sporting events (excluding invitational and tournament action) during the fall and winter sports seasons. The cost is $100 for adults and $50 per student with family pricing available. Football reserved seats will be on sale for $30 per seat. Gate prices will be $6 for varsity football games; $5 adults, $4 students for high school soccer and volleyball matches; and $4 adults, $3 students for entry into all middle school athletic events. Student varsity football season tickets will be $15.

Golden Buckeye card passes will also be available for $10 and are good for use at all athletic events with the exception of varsity football and varsity boys’ basketball.

Individual presale football tickets ($5 adult, $4 students) can be purchased on Fridays from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. in the athletic office. All season tickets will continue to be on sale in the athletic office.

Delphos St. Johns season tickets to go on sale

The Delphos St. John’s Football season tickets for volleyball and soccer tickets will be sold in the High School office only at the following times on Aug. 9-10 from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. o 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices for football reserve seat Season ticket (five home games) –$ 35; football general admission season ticket – $28; football student season ticket – $18; reserve football seats are still available, if interested contact the office: 419-692-5371 ext. 1137.

Season tickets for varsity volleyball Pass (nine Home games) for adult is $45 and $30 for students. For junior high volleyball pass (five Home games) is$12 for adults and $8 for students. for a soccer family pass (nine home games it is $35 and for a student all sports pass (pass for HS & JH home games 2017-2018 seasons) it is $55.
