Lucas shoots 35, Blue Jays beat Rangers

Austin Lucas shot an even par 35 to lead Delphos St. John’s to a 158-204 boys high school golf win over New Knoxville on Monday at the Delphos Country Club.

Derek Klausing shot a 38 for St. John’s and Grant Csukker had a 41.

Temple Christian 172, Lehman 183

Judah Whitman and Seth Hohlbein both shot 42 to lead the Pioneers to their win at Shelby Oaks. Adrian Williams shot a 43.

For Lehman, Tyler Lachey and Cole Gilardi both shot 41.

Shawnee 165, Van Wert 171

Sam Reed (35) and Keaton McKinley (39) led Shawnee (3-0, 1-0 WBL). Jared Hernandez (40) and Colton Descher (41) led Van Wert (1-1, 1-1 WBL).

Wapakoneta 163, Elida 180

Jard Miller shot a 38 and Logan Miller had a 40 for the Redskins (4-0, 2-0 WBL). Drew Sarno led Elida (0-3, 0-3 WBL).

Four-team NWC match

Linconview’s 178 was the low team total of the day at Colonial Golfers Club, led by Joshah Rager’s 38. Columbus Grove recorded a 182, led by Jared Oglesbee’s 43.

Allen East had a 194, led by Grant Whitley’s 46. Crestview finished at 212, with Caden Hurless’ 49 the low score for the Knights.

Fort Recovery 187, New Bremen 197

Grant Knapke shot a 45 to lead Fort Recovery. Derek Bergman’s 44 was New Bremen’s low round.

Parkway 198, Coldwater 210

Mason Baxter’s 47 was the low round for the Panthers. Andrew Fisher led Coldwater with a 45.

Girls Golf

Shawnee 206, Wapakoneta 255

Megan Spainhower and Morgan Altenbach both shot 48 to lead Shawnee. Wapakoneta’s low round came from Ali Wayman, who had a 51.

Hicksville 215, Parkway 245

Micah Schroeder, of Hicksville, was match medalist with a 46. For Parkway, Haylee Stukey’s 53 was the low round.

Tennis

Ada 5, Lima Senior 0

Ada swept the match without losing a set and and lost only 10 games in the five matches.
