CELINA — Kalida followed its Thursday victory in the Panther Golf Invitational with the team title in the Celina Inviational on Friday.
Jeffery Knueve again led the Wildcats with a medalist score of 2-under 70 at the Celina Lynx Golf Club. Teammates Josh Klausing (82), Trent Siebeneck (83), Christian Nartker (84) and Collin Nartker (84) all kept their scores under 85 as Kalida finished with a team score of 319 in the low four scores format.
Wapakoneta (328) finished second with Logan Miller leading the way with a 78. St. Marys (331) was fourth and Shawnee (335) finished fifth.

OTTAWA — Medalist Davis Lammers (40), Luke Lammers (41), Jacob Schimmoeller (43) and Kelvin Stechschulte (47) combined for the winning score as Miller City (171) defeated Fort Jennings (190), Ottoville (197) and Leipsic (227) at the par-36 Pike Run Golf Club. Others producing the low rounds for their respective schools were Fort Jennings’ Logan Hardenman (43), Ottoville’s Andy Schimmoeller (44) and Leipsic’s Mason Tadena (54).

LIMA — Temple Christian (165) defeated New Knoxville (215) and Riverside (218) at the par-36 Hidden Creek Golf Club.
Medalist Judah Whitman (37), Adrian Williams (38), Seth Hohlbein (43) and Ty Callahan (47) contributed to the winning score. Jack Bartholomew led New Knoxville with a 48.

Snyder named VP
of OHSAA board
COLUMBUS – Jeff Snyder, superintendent of Lincolnview Local Schools, will serve as the vice president of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Board of Directors for the 2016-17 school year starting this month. Snyder is entering his second year of a two-year term on the OHSAA board.
The OHSAA is the governing body of high school and junior high sports in Ohio. It is a voluntary, non-profit organization that governs 822 high schools and 900 middle schools, which includes approximately 400,000 student-athletes.
