Lane-Harvey, Patton, Clement Players of the Year

Perry’s Jakoby Lane-Harvey and Upper Scioto Valley’s Emily Patton are the Northwest Central Conference’s Players of the Year in boys and girls basketball.

Lane-Harvey was joined on the boys first team by his teammate Plummie Gardner, Temple Christian’s Brock Bowman, Upper Scioto Valley’s Trevor Dotson, Ridgemont’s Corey Eversole and Riverside’s Landon Kelsey.

The second team members are: Orion Monford (Perry), Keaton Good (Temple Christian), Will Poling (Hardin Northern), Collin Lowe (Hardin Northern), Chase Rose (Upper Scioto Valley) and Wayne Lowery (Upper Scioto Valley).

USV’s Shelby Spradlin joined Patton on the girls first team, along with Hardin Northern’s Holly Wilson, Ridgemont’s Priscilla Howland, Riverside’s Marisa Davis and Lehman Catholic’s Allie Hall.

The girls second team is composed of Waynesfield-Goshen’s Jenna Crawford and Paige Crawford, Upper Scioto Valley’s Kaycee Carroll, Hardin Northern’s Michaela Curtis and Lehman Catholic’s Hannah Fogt.

Clement PCL’s Player of the Year

Columbus Grove’s Jade Clement has been named the Putnam County girls basketball Player of the Year.

The junior guard also was named the Northwest Conference Player of the Year last week. The Bulldogs’ coach, Brian Schroeder, was named PCL Coach of the Year.

The other first-team selections are Paige Bellman of Columbus Grove, Kylie Osterhage of Kalida, Cassie Niese of Miller City, Bridget Landin of Ottoville and Brooke Mangas of Ottoville.

The second-team players are Lynea Diller of Columbus Grove, Allison Recker of Kalida, Heather Lammers of Leipsic, Alicia Honigford of Ottoville and Alexa Maag of Pandora-Gilboa.
