TOLEDO — Lima Senior’s Rion Thompson tossed in 30 points to power the Spartans to a 70-60 girls basketball victory over Notre Dame Academy Monday in Toledo.
Thompson hit 9 of 22 from the field and was 12 of 15 at the foul line.
Essence Cowan added 16 points with two 3-pointers for the Spartans. She was 6 of 6 at the line.
Destiny McDonald added 10 points. Asia Wilson had six points and six rebounds. Kierre James had six points and five rebounds.
Lima Senior shot 40 percent from the field and 66 percent at the line. Notre Dame shot 24 percent from the field and 72 at the line.
Notre Dame won the boards, 41-32
Lima Senior is 2-1, 1-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference.
