To solve the school crisis of parent outrage, curricula issues, teacher burnout, political interference, shootings, armed security guards and illicit “wokeness,” put prayer back in classrooms.

I am writing to request your support of the Johnny Appleseed Park District Levies this coming May.

For years, I had a wonderful postal carrier. He didn’t fuss about things like not having a flag on the box or seeing the daily newspaper in the mailbox.

We celebrate Easter not because of Easter Bunny. They are traditional stories. Easter Bunny didn’t hang on the cross.

After reading the article by Blue Chip Construction Company, I was led to respond from my own personal experiences with boarded up and blighted properties.

The whole world is now coming off a miserable three-year window due to COVID-19. During that time period, the people in our area had the opportunity to feel somewhat normal, courtesy of the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Parks.

When you look for a place to live and raise your family, there are many factors that may affect your decision. These may include a good job, affordable housing and the school district you want your children to attend.

In response to a recent letter defending “woke,” I would like to respond.

I would like to thank all of my family, friends and people in the Waynesfield area for the help I received this past weekend. The April 1st tornado ripped through my farm, tearing down three barns, damaging my house and an old barn and destroying a number of trees. I am overwhelmed by the amount of support I received from the community.

This upcoming May, we all have the opportunity to vote yes to two renewals for the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District.
