Letter: Kindness was medicine we needed

Having recently been discharged from the hospital, we spent four hours at the doctor’s office and then stopped at Skyline Chili to eat. The waitress came to our table and said she needed to reprint our bill. She returned with a bill having a zero balance. She was all smiles saying, “Another customer took care of your bill!”

Thank you to the generous, kind, thoughtful customer who could not have done this at a more opportune time. Our hearts are filled with gratitude, and we will do for others as you have done for us.
