The Serra Club of the Lima Area celebrated its 50th year of the granting of our club’s charter by Serra International, a Catholic lay organization which promotes vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
The first charted meeting was held at St. Rita’s Medical Center 50 years ago and they graciously allowed us once again the use of their wonderful facility for this special event.
Guests included Bishop Daniel Thomas of the Diocese of Toledo, many local clergy and religious, leaders from Serra International as well as neighboring Serra Clubs.
We very much appreciate the outstanding cooperation of the administration of St. Rita’s Medical Center. The Spirtual Care Department prepared the beautiful chapel for the Mass as well as attended to all the details required at the Conference Center for Chef Prelusky and staff’s elegant 171 meals.
