Letter: A hero emerges from Kentucky

Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, is a true Christian. She obeyed God’s law, rather than man’s. More power to you. May God bless you and protect you.

You remind me of the prophets of old. They had to go to jail for their beliefs. I know this world says to each his own. You can agree or disagree, it takes faith to combat man law, but man’s law is not God’s law.

When God created man, he said be fruitful and multiply. Can two males multiply? Can two females multiply?

I’m a born-again Christian. I love everybody. God loves everyone, but not their ways. The world needs more leaders like Mrs. Davis. It is said, if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.
