VAN WERT — The Van Wert Civic Theatre will hold auditions for “Matilda the Musical” form 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18 and Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the theatre, 118 S. Race St., Van Wert.
Actors between the ages of 8 and 18 can audition for the youth theatre production based on the Roald Dahl book.
Rehearsals will start from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday the last week of November at the theatre until January when they shift to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center.
The show will take the stage Jan. 25 and 26, 2025, at the Niswonger, 10700 state Route 118, Van Wert.
