Lima man pleads not guilty to abduction

LIMA — A Lima man accused of abduction recently pleaded not guilty in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

According to court documents, Arthur Brown III, 25, allegedly threatened to stab his girlfriend to death and said he would watch her die. His girlfriend recorded the incident on her phone and said Brown took her phone and threw it at a window, causing the window’s glass to break. Brown wouldn’t allow her to leave the residence for approximately 15 to 20 minutes and was said to have a steak knife in his lap, which his girlfriend got a picture of.

Brown is being held in the Allen County Jail on a $150,000 bond. A pretrial has been set for Nov. 4.
