VAN WERT — The Van Wert County Agricultural Society will meet to consider an amendment that could add another director to its board.
The proposal will be considered at the society’s annual reorganization meeting at 8 a.m. Nov. 9 in the EMR Meeting Room at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds administration building, 1055 S. Washington St., Van Wert.
The amendment, if adopted, would add one more director to the Board of Directors, bringing the total to 19. This would be a second at-large seat, meaning the director could reside in any township, city or village in Van Wert County. This seat would be filled by appointment by the board of directors and would be up for election Sept. 1, 2025.
Anyone interested in being appointed should contact the fair office at 419-238-9270 and submit a form of interest no later than Nov. 22.
