VAN WERT — Troopers with the Van Wert post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a three-vehicle accident that left two people dead Monday morning.
A patrol spokesman said the accident on U.S. 127 south of Van Wert near the Hickory Sticks golf course was called in shortly before 11 a.m.
He confirmed that two persons were deceased but said no additional information would be released until family members of the victims have been notified.
