Collection of unwanted drugs set Saturday

WAPAKONETA — The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office will serve as one of dozens of collection points throughout the region for the disposal of unwanted or unused medications as part of the federal Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Take Back initiative on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Residents may dispose of medications that day between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office, 1051 Dearbaugh Ave., Wapakoneta. The drive-through site will accept prescription and over-the-counter drugs and pet medications. No liquids, creams or needles will be accepted.
