LIMA — The Area Agency on Aging 3 will host a free caregiver appreciation event Friday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at its office, 2423 Allentown Road, Lima.
Attendees must be a caregiver for someone 60 years old or older, and those receiving care can also attend.
Light refreshments will start at 10 a.m. followed by a presentation about Trualta, an online caregiver resource, at 10:15 a.m. At 11 a.m., attendees will have the opportunity to explore available vendors, and an Alzheimer’s Association presentation will be given at 11:15 a.m. The end of the event will be reserved for questions and continuing to explore the vendors.
