Millsaps promoted to assistant AD at UNOH

LIMA — The University of Northwestern Ohio on Monday promoted Scott Millsaps to assistant athletic director, according to a news release.

Millsaps worked with 13 varsity teams at UNOH as the university’s head strength and conditioning coach, a role he held since 2013, and has been responsible for the women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball programs during his tenure.

“I am elated for Scott to join the administrative side of our athletic department,” said Director of Athletics Jen Dervarics in a news release Monday. “Scott is one of our most tenured athletics employees and is extremely dedicated to the growth and development of our student-athletes, staff and sport programs.

“In addition to his head strength and conditioning coach responsibilities, he took over athletic director duties during my maternity leave earlier this year and did a tremendous job. He has become well aware of our internal operations, and we share a common vision for the future of Racer Athletics. I am proud to have Scott as a member of our athletic administration staff and am excited to see the impact he will have on the athletic department.”
