Allen County Title Department to begin out-of-state inspections, passport applications

LIMA — The Allen County Title Department will soon expand the services it provides to the public.

According to a release from Allen County Clerk of Courts Jennifer McBride, effective Monday, Oct. 21, the title department will begin executing out-of-state inspections for motor vehicles, travel trailers and all-terrain vehicles purchased out of state.

Effective Friday, Nov. 1, the department will also become a U.S. Passport Processing Facility. Any citizens wishing to obtain a passport application or a passport photo can do so at the department office, 419 N. Elizabeth St., Lima. No appointment is necessary to apply for a passport. Passports will be processed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
