LIMA — The Allen County Council on Aging will host a check-up day for Medicare and Medicare Part D beneficiaries from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the aging council office, 700 N. Main St., Lima.
The event will offer seniors flu shots and blood pressure checks, as well as blood sugar, hearing and cholesterol screenings.
A representative from the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program will share updates on Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicare drug plans starting at 10:30 a.m.
There is no cost to attend, and no appointment is needed. Attendees should bring their Medicare or Medicare Advantage card. Refreshments will be provided.
