LIMA — Lima schools invited families to read under the lights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Lima Senior High School Joe Bowers Field baseball diamond on the east side of the high school, 1 Spartan Way, Lima.
The event is designed for families of children in preschool through fourth grade, the first of several family literacy events Lima schools will host throughout the school year.
Books, games and popcorn will be provided.
The event will move into the high school cafeteria in the event of inclement weather.
