LIMA — Allen County Children Services is seeking sponsors for its Christmas gift program, Adopt-A-Family, which purchases presents for children involved with the agency.
Sponsors will be matched with families, given contact information and a wish list for items to purchase. Sponsors may deliver presents to the family or drop them off at Children Services, 123 W. Spring St., Lima.
Donations can also be made to the cause by sending a check made payable to Allen County Children Services with “Adopt-A-Family” written in the memo section. Donations will be used to purchase toys, food for families and other basic needs.
The program has given presents to more than 200 families annually and has been running for more than 30 years.
