VAN WERT — OhioHealth Physician Group will host an informational session about puberty and menstrual cycles for pre-teen girls and their families from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at LifeHouse Church, 719 Fox Road, Van Wert.
The presentation, “It’s a Girl Thing,” is intended for girls ages 9 to 13. Girls are encouraged to bring their mothers or a trusted friend.
Pizza will be provided.
Feminine products, a t-shirt and the American Girl book, “The Care and Keeping of You” will be available for girls to take home.
